Goin’ On A Nature Hunt…
We would like to show you
what we have been up to today! We have been working through animal life cycles
and examining what a species can do as a baby, and what changes as they grow.
Today we continued to look at caterpillars and how they become butterflies as an
adult. We went on a nature walk to find items that caterpillars and butterflies
use for food and shelter (leaves, flowers, branches, etc.). We then used our
nature items to create an artistic display of the butterfly life cycle. We used
marshmallows as caterpillar eggs as well as various pasta shapes to show how
caterpillars grow and evolve into butterflies.
