Hello parents,

Today, we had our kickoff assembly for our Terry Fox run on Friday. Thank you to those who have already brought in your $2 to participate! We watched a video about Terry and his work at our assembly, and will be discussing more about Terry Fox throughout the week.

In math, we started working on counting and estimating money with piggy banks, and we will be working with coins again tomorrow in some hands-on creative ways! Stay tuned for pictures tomorrow!

In Science, we got to work with our "devinettes" guessing games about animals. We will be posting photos tomorrow!

Finally, we made our first trip to the library today for our first book exchange. A note to former Mother Teresa parents: we will not be using library bags at St. Patrick, so we have discussed being extra responsible with our precious books! We will exchange our books every Day 2 (Tuesdays, for now), but students can always return books from home at any time and can go to free book exchange at several points throughout the week.
