Yesterday, we were so excited to receive a package in the mail from Miami... from our pen pals! Today, we opened our letters and we loved all the care and effort that they put into writing very thoughtful letters to us. Today, we began our rough drafts that we will edit and mail off by Friday! We are teaching our pen pals how to speak French and all about our French-Canadian culture. We were very excited to write to them about our Carnaval day tomorrow!
Speaking of Carnaval...tomorrow we will be spending most of the day outside, so please refer to the blue page in our agendas to make sure that you are ready! Please bring extra mittens, socks, hats. Dress in your full snow suit, and dress in layers so that you can adjust as you need throughout the day. Please also pack some extra snacks (especially items that can be eaten on the go, such as fruit, granola bars, etc.). Your blue page also specifies your child's team, so you may want to be prepared with his/her team name (letter from A-X) written on a hand, so that he/she is prepared for tomorrow.
