Hi parents,
Today, we began our newest artistic adventure: Praying in Colour! We are using the book by Sybil MacBeth to help us create thoughtful prayers through drawings, symbols and of course, lots of colour! We started by reading the book and discussing it. You can find the link to the Prezi presentation {HERE}.
We began by choosing a word to represent God, Jesus, or another Saint and He/She goes in the middle as our focus. We then stem from it the people in our lives who need our prayers (in good times and in bad). We talked about how prayer is not just us speaking to God to ask for something we want. It is a thoughtful conversation where we are constantly speaking to God for many reasons, and we also listen for God's responses.
We will be ready to show off our amazing prayers to you tomorrow!
