We had a very busy day of Advent learning, Literacy and Math centres, and of course, our Christmas concert! We had a wonderful morning performing in front of our St. Patrick student community! We sang our song, Douce Nuit (Silent Night) beautifully, and many other classes commented on how professional and poised we looked up on stage :) Excellent work!

Tomorrow is Red and Green Day at St. Patrick, but our class voted to do a pyjama day instead, so we have the option of participating in either celebration, or perhaps combining both? We did discuss, however, that the stuffed animals, blankets and pillows may be best left at home, just to keep them safe and clean. We will have a small class celebration in the afternoon to wrap up our hard work for 2015. Students may bring in a movie (DVD format only) that is G-rated, and that comes with a French version. 

Tomorrow, your child will come home with some levelled readers to enjoy over the Christmas holidays to keep up our French reading while at home.
